The clinic is located within the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto and serves patients of all ages. To access the clinic, enter the Opportunity Center through the family side (left side when facing the building) and proceed down the hall.


The following services are provided at the clinic, free of charge:

Primary Care: Family physicians see children and adults, providing comprehensive day-to-day healthcare services. Referrals to specialized care and diagnostic testing are available by special arrangement.

Psychiatry, Counseling, Therapy: Psychiatrists and counselors provide an array of services including medication, care management, and therapy.

Dermatology: Specialty physicians see patients for skin issues.

Dental Care: Santa Clara County’s Mobile Dental Van is available for patients each Friday at the Opportunity Center. Please see Dental Van staff to schedule your appointmen.

Stanford Law Team, Disability Analysts: Assist clients in applying for Social Security Disability, other benefit programs, and appeal representation.

Prescription Drug Programs: Refer patients to low cost medication programs.

Health Enrollment Services: Covered California Navigators are available to assist patients with enrolling in healthcare insurance programs.

Peninsula HealthCare Connection (PHC) was founded in 2005 and is the only fully licensed medical facility providing free, direct healthcare services to homeless and low-income residents of North Santa Clara County. The clinic is located within the Opportunity Center in Palo Alto, and is staffed in part by Palo Alto Medical Foundation Medical Doctors.
